Reflections - Bev
Green Trillium
Beverly Ruth Huber
May 23, 1941 - May 21, 2024
Bev loved flowers. She took gorgeous photos that Marilyn, her sister and my friend, turned into greeting cards. Bev also loved teddy bears and unabashedly snuggled one when I visited her at the nursing home.
Marilyn asked me to show Bev a relaxing yoga pose. I demonstrated prayer position hands with deep calming breaths. Each morning when I do this pose in yoga, the image of Bev straightening in her recliner wheelchair and struggling to get her hands together pops into my mind.
Devoted sister, kind friend, welcoming person, Bev will be missed.
In Bev’s memory Spence planted two trillium rhizomes—Yellow Wake-Robins—in the front yard. They will bloom in her birthday month like many other trilliums at Wells Wood.
